Phantom Line is a premium action game for PC developed by Antistatic Studios. It is a first-person co-op shooter wherein players are part of a special forces team taking on various tactical missions in a post-apocalyptic world. They will be tasked with the search and containment of strange events and activities relating to the paranormal.
Combining tactical shooting gameplay similar to Counter-Strike 2 with the horror survival elements of something like Dead Space Remake, Phantom Line manages to offer an experience that is both action-packed and terrifying at the same time. The experience is complemented by impressive, highly detailed visuals.
Paranormal SWAT team
In Phantom Line, you play as an Operator for a special ops team run by a mysterious corporation called Mortfield Industries. It has lost communications with one of its research facilities in Eastern Europe, located in the Iron Corridor. You are sent to investigate and secure the facility, dealing with any obstacles in your way, while the world is on the verge of nuclear war.
The gameplay in Phantom Line is a cross between tactical combat and horror survival elements. You will be sent to a place where sci-fi meets the paranormal, and the very fabric of space and time is being warped, letting out all kinds of strange entities and monstrosities. The nuclear-powered Icebreaker ship is your base of operations, from where you can customize your loadout with different weapons and armor.
The intriguing part of the game comes from H.U.S.K., an operator simulation program that lets you transfer your consciousness between artificial bodies. Contend with hostile environments by crafting tools and hunting for food to survive. Now, as of this writing, the game is not officially out yet, so you'll have to wait for more news and announcements about when it will arrive.
